Every time one of my friends start a new Instagram account or a Facebook page to promote their new work I get so happy that I want to celebrate! It’s not because I’m a party person that wants to take any opportunity to have a beer… A good IPA… or maybe a Cider… No… Well, maybe yes… But still… The reason I celebrate is because I know that from now on people around them will have more happiness. They will have the opportunity to be in contact with more art. Have a new art in their lives. It can be art from a singer, a dancer, musician, paintings, craft boxes, a new clothing line, poems, thoughts… whatever it is, they will be in contact with art.
People around the artist, those few friends that followed the new account, will be able to watch how art can grow and evolve. Sometimes even identify themselves in this art. They’ll help their friends, share their contents, meet new people. Everyone will be there, sharing and commenting on things that were finally presented to the world. Identifying themselves in them or just admiring it. I imagine everyone online holding hands together to help their friends achieve their goals.
A new Instagram account, a new Facebook page, a new Twitter profile is not only online data. It’s a generator of meanings. It’s a place where imagination can run free and it’s a relatively NEW SPACE where man can share their thoughts, opinions, choices and promote their work. It’s the new podium, where problems of our society are discussed, where men try to talk about their soul, where people share their happiness, sadness, difficulties and others try to help and comfort them. A place where people can speak as one. Women and Men working for a better world, I see people supporting others and having sympathy.
To open a new online account is to create a new island of liberty and a new confraternity. One of the things that most unite people is art, and a new online account sharing art is part of the process. It’s not only a place for having fun, but also a new place for reflexion, discoveries, meeting new people and make a revolution little by little with the people around you.
Are there haters? Negativity and bad criticism? Dumb people? Yes. But there were also these type of men in ancient times. And now we are what? 7 billion people? There’s a higher chance to meet dumb people lol
But seriously. Why do you think I do all of this? My music… My videos.. My songs… my videos talking to you, to people. Is it because I want fame? Is it because I want money? Or is it just a place where we can develop ourselves and learn with one another? Is it a place where we share our feelings, share our thoughts on life, try to discover the mysteries this world holds? I hope it is. Because all I want is to help people. Help myself. Find out what this world is made of. And probable your closest artistic friends want that as well, so please, support the local community. Support people like me, that is 3 thousand 3 hundred and fifty six kilometres away from you and is still learning and developing themselves.
